We had a wonderful (and busy) weekend last weekend. We started off meeting friends of mine and their daughters for a walk at Wash park. We had a wonderful time - Ali was very well behaved even though we circled the park twice (Ali loves walking and I think she stays cozy and not too hot in her BOB stroller). Here is Ali with her friend Elyse.
Jesse saw this tiny adarondack chair at the wedding and put Ali in it. It was the cutest thing ever and I am desperate to find one so that Ali can have a chair to match Jesse's and mine at home.
Ali was wishing that cake could have been her second solid to be introduced. I think she will be pretty fun with her first birthday cake.

It was chilly Saturday night and Sunday morning so Ali go to where the adorable outfit honorary Aunt Cansas bought her when she was just a newborn. It was so cute - she looked like a little polar bear!
Ali has also moved on from rice cereal and has now had sweet potatoes as well. She really seemed to enjoy them and I think the second time she actually kept some in her mouth instead of just wearing them :)

I got all set up with weekend to make my own baby food for Ali. I am super excited to give it a try but will have to wait until I have the day off Wednesday. I bought an apple and a peach at the store today to use for baby food and am interested to see what she thinks of fruit.
