Me: (surprised at the question) It was good. Thank you for asking.
A: How was your work daddy?
D: It was fine thanks.
A: My work was good today too.

"You're a good mommy"
Ali will tell me this, usually while patting me reassuringly on the leg or back (whatever she can reach). It is pretty cute and I have to admit - once or twice it has been just what I needed to hear . . . even if it was from my 2 year old who was the cause of those doubts in the first place :)
